Abstract:
To provide a toner that has both satisfactory low temperature fixability and cleaning properties and is not scattered.SOLUTION: A toner contains a binder resin, a colorant, and inorganic filler. The atomic concentration% of Al when the toner is measured by an X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) is 0.35 or more and 0.85 or less. When the atomic concentration% of Al measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) in the toner is M1, the atomic concentration% of Al measured by the XRF is M2, and the volume average particle diameter of the toner is Dv, and when the atomic concentration% of Al measured by the XPS of particles obtained by classifying the toner into 6/5 Dv is M3 and the atomic concentration% of Al measured by the XRF of particles obtained by classifying the toner into 6/5 Dv is M4, the toner satisfies the relationship of 0.8<(M1/M2)/(M3/M4)<1.2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
