Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a toner excellent in sticking resistance and lowtemp. fixability and to improve image properties such as fog, filming and image density by specifying the melt index of the toner contg. a bonding resin and a colorant and the melt index of the bonding resin.
SOLUTION: This toner contains at least a bonding resin and a colorant and has 15-40g/10min melt index at 125°C. The melt index of the bonding resin is 3-12g/10min at 150°C and the bonding resin is preferable a polyester resin or a urethane modified polyester resin having 3-12g/10min melt index at 150°C. An anti-offsetting agent preferably having 60-150°C softening point, e.g. low mol. wt. polyolefin wax such as PE or PP wax is contained.
