Title:
TONER FOR DEVELOPMENT OF IMAGE CHARGED WITH STATIC ELECTRICITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60108862
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a reposeful picture which is not lustered even if it is fixed by heat and pressure, by constituting a toner with specific core body particles, which are not fused at the temperature of heat fixing, and coating layers consisting of materials fused at this temperature.

CONSTITUTION: The toner is constituted of core body particles 2 which are not fused at the temperature of heat fixing and have ≥3μ particle size and coating layers 3 which consist of materials fused at this temperature and have ≥1μ thickness. Though toner particles having coating layers 3 on core body particles 2 are only attracted onto a paper 1 before heat fixing, only coating layers 3 fused at the temperature of heat fixing are fused by heat and pressure fixing. Since core body particles 2 which are not fused at this temperature of fixing exist in a toner layer and the surface of the toner layer is rugged, light is reflected irregularly, and the picture is lusterless and reposeful. As core body particles 2 which are not fused at the temperature of heat fixing, materials which are not fused at 100W200°C of a general temperature of heat fixing of a copying machine are used, and for example, metallic particles (iron. copper, or the like), inorganic material particles (Si, N2, SiC, or the like) consisting of ceramics or the like, crosslinked high polymer particles, or the like are used.
