To provide a toner with which an image of high picture quality having no transfer absence, superior cleaning performance, image density, and resolution, and neither ground staining nor density unevenness can be formed for a long period and an image forming device which uses the toner and can be made small-sized.
A transfer member obtained by a manufacturing method including a polishing process is arranged opposite an image carrier which has the transfer member, moves the surface of the transfer member endlessly without any surface moving speed difference from the transfer member, and carries an image to form a nip part between the image carrier and transfer member; and the transfer material is passed through the nip part to transfer the image to the transfer material. The toner contains magnetic toner consisting of at least binding resin and a magnetic body and inorganic particulates processed with silicone oil; and the separation rate of the silicone oil is (1) 10 to 70% and the magnetism of the toner is (2) 10 to 25 emu/g in a magnetic field of 5k oersted and 7 to 20 emu/g in a magnetic field of 1k oersted.
