To provide toners which can obtain stable images of high image quality having excellent flow characteristics without image defects, have excellent transfer and cleaning characteristics as well, and are adequate particularly as full-color electronic photographic toners and an image forming method using these toners and a method of manufacturing the toners.
The toners containing at least a binder resin and coloring agents are characterized in that a master batch pigment of 0.01 to 1.0 wt.% in loss on drying at 110°C and ≤0.05 wt.% in loss on drying at 70°C is used; the average circularity measured by a flow type particle image measuring instrument is ≥0.940; and the circularity within a range of 1 to 3 μm in the diameter of the equivalent circle (based on weight), defined as Df, and the circularity in a range of 10 to 20 μm, defined as Dc, are in a range of 0.940≤Df, 0.920≤Dc≤0.950 and 0.000≤Df-Dc≤0.050.
