To provide a toner manufacturing method for stably manufacturing low-temperature fixable toner, and to provide toner manufactured by the manufacturing method, a two-component developer using the toner, a developing device and an image forming apparatus.

The toner is manufactured using water dispersed liquid obtained by dispersing crystalline self-dispersion type polyester resin in a water medium, which includes at least one carboxyl group and a compound as an alcohol component expressed by chemical formula (1) (in the formula, n is an integer of n=2-50). The water dispersed liquid, a coloring agent particle water dispersed liquid and a wax particle water dispersed liquid are mixed and aggregated. Further non-crystalline self-dispersion type polyester resin particle water dispersed liquid is added thereto and aggregated. Further, a mixture liquid containing flocculated material is heated and cleaned to obtain toner.
