Abstract:
To provide a toner excellent in heat-resistant storage property, low-temperature fixability, environmental stability, and image quality.SOLUTION: A toner contains a binder resin and a mold release agent. A mold release agent peak (Wk) and a resin peak (Rk) of a toner heated product obtained by heating the toner when measured by the FTIR-ATR method (total reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy) satisfy a specific relationship; a mold release agent peak (Wn) and a resin peak (Rn) of a non-heated product in which the toner is not heated when measured by the FTIR-ATR method (total reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy) and the mold release agent peak (Wk) and the resin peak (Rk) satisfy a specific relationship; in a molecular weight distribution of a soluble component of tetrahydrofuran (THF) in the toner measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), when an arbitrary molecular weight M is selected within a molecular weight range of 300 or more and 5,000 or less, the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of a peak intensity defined below within a range of ±300 of the molecular weight M is 30 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
