To provide a toner for one component development which can maintain good fluidity even when rather large stress is added to the toner particles and which can form an image of high picture quality.
The toner for one component development is suitable for the developing device in which a toner carrying body 21 and an electrostatic latent image carrying body 10 move from the lower part to the upper part in the developing region where the toner carrying body 21 and the electrostatic latent image carrying body 10 face each other and in which a toner supplying means 25 and the toner carrying body 21 move in the opposite direction to each other in the part where the toner supply means 25 to supply the toner to the toner carrying body 21 and the toner carrying body 21 are in contact with each other. The toner has 4 to 10 μm weight average particle size, ≤32% compression rate and ≤38° angle of repose.
