PURPOSE: To form the wall of toner supplied from the upstream side in a rotational direction, and to prevent the back flow of the toner supplied from the downstream side in the rotational direction to a toner storage part caused by pressure in the rotational direction and reduction in the supplying quantity of the toner by setting the toner supplying quantity of a toner replenishing member on the upstream side in the rotational direction larger than that of the toner replenishing member on the downstream side in the rotational direction with respect to a toner replenishing port.
CONSTITUTION: The toner storage parts 32 and 33 are formed on both sides of the toner replenishing member 30. Stirring blades 35a and 35b and scraping up blades 36a and 36b are provided on respective toner storage parts 32 and 33. The width of the scooping part 42a of the scraping up blade 36a on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the toner replenishing member 30 is set larger than that of the scooping part 42b of the stirring blade 35b on the downstream side. The scraping up blades 36a and 36b are vertically moved by the rotation of the stirring blades 35a and 35b, and the scooping parts 42a and 42b scoop the toner. The wall of the toner can be made on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the toner replenishing member 31. The toner supplied from the scooping part 42b of an opposite side hits on the wall. The toner supplied from the upstream side can be never pushed back by the toner supplied from the downstream side.
