To provide a toner supply apparatus in which a toner supply means can be downsized without increasing its cost due to the increase of the number of components for prevention of a toner leakage or the like in the case of a toner cartridge provided with an air hole, and which can stably supply sufficient amount of toner.
The toner supply apparatus has a developer storage container storing developer which contains at least toner; a joint member having a toner supply port which communicates with the toner outlet of the developer storage container; and a conveying means which conveys toner, supplied from the toner supply port into the joint member, to a development device. At the joint member, in a space which makes the joint member communicate with the inside of the developer storage container, at least one or more air holes for introducing air is provided.
