PURPOSE: To uniform and supply toner in a dispersed state by vibrating a toner conveyance member, which has a wedgelike toner conveyance surface narrowing down gradually in the conveyance direction of time, by an exciting means and conveying the toner toward the acute-angle tip part.
CONSTITUTION: The toner 9a which is supplied from a toner supply opening 11 falls on the rear end part 22 of a toner conveyance member 2 arranged right below the supply opening 11. The conveyance member 2 is vibrated through the operation of the ultrasonic wave generator of the exciting means 3. The toner 9a which falls on the rear end part 22 of the toner conveyance member 2 by the vibration is conveyed on the toner conveyance surface 23 toward the tip part 21. The toner 9a conveyed on the conveyance surface 23 reaches the end earlier and earlier as it is conveyed more and more outside on the conveyance surface 23 because the conveyance surface 23 is in a wedgelike shape and narrows down gradually in the toner conveyance direction. The toner 9a which reaches the end falls from both sides of the conveyance surface 23 while dispersed more thinly by the edge. Consequently, the toner 9a is uniformed and supplied while dispersed little by little in the conveyance direction of the conveyance direction 23.
