Abstract:
To provide a toner that substantially suppresses occurrence of an image defect even when the same is reused, a toner cartridge that stores the toner, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A toner of an embodiment has a toner base particle and an external additive. The toner base particle includes a binder resin, ester wax, and a coloring agent. The external additive includes titanium oxide and silica. Adhesive strength A of the external additive to the toner base particle according to a following formula (1) is 90-100%. Adhesive strength B of the external additive to the toner base particle according to a following formula (2) is 50-80%. Formula (1): adhesive strength A=(Ia2/Ia1)×100. Formula (2): adhesive strength B=(Ib2/Ib1)×100. Ia1: X-ray intensity of titanium in toner. Ia2: X-ray intensity of titanium in a particle A obtained by a specific processing method. Ib1: X-ray intensity of silicon in toner. Ib2: X-ray intensity of silicon in a particle B obtained by the specific processing method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
