Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, storage stability, and wax dispersibility.SOLUTION: A toner includes toner particles each containing a binder resin and colorant. The binder resin is a hybrid resin obtained by chemically combining a polyester unit and a vinyl polymer unit; the vinyl polymer unit is a unit obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer under the absence of the polyester unit and a raw material thereof; the hybrid resin is a hybrid resin obtained by performing polycondensation of polyvalent carboxylic acid and polyhydric alcohol under the presence of an esterification catalysis, a pyrogallol compound having a benzene ring in which three hydrogen elements adjacent to each other are substituted by a hydroxyl group, and the vinyl polymer unit.SELECTED DRAWING: None
