To prevent deterioration of a stator by ozone gas by forming the stator of an elastic material containing at least non-diene polymer.
In a toner transferring pump 5, a stator 25 is formed of an elastic material containing at least non-diene polymer. When toner particles are passed between a rotor 24 formed of a rigid body and the stator 25, a stator part pressurized by the rotor 24 is elastically deformed, and thereby, external force applied on the toner particle is minimized. The stator 25 is elastically deformed simultaneously with rotation of the rotor 24, and thereby, heat generated by friction between the two 24, 25 is suppressed to the utmost, the toner particle is prevented from deforming and breaking, and the toner is prevented from condensing. Since non-diene polymer has ozone resistance, generation of cracking caused by ozone generated at the time of operation of a charging device and a transfer charger is obstructed so as to prevent condensing and fixing of the toner from generating.
