To obtain a storage container from which toner waste is easily extracted by an amount by which the toner waste is easily transported even when it is the large storage container by moving a screening member so that a toner waste discharge port may be unscreened/screened.
The coupling barrel 86 of a lower unscreening/screening member 82 is pushed in the cylinder part 74 of an upper unscreening/screening member 72, and the engaging projection 88 of the former is engaged with the engaging groove 80 of the latter, whereby the member 82 is connected to the member 72 so that it can be rotated with their axes as center. Therefore, by rotating the member 82 in a state where the member 82 is connected to the member 72, an unscreened state where the drop holes 78 of the members 72 and 82 communicate is switched to/from a screened state where the drop hole 78 of the member 72 is covered by the partition of the member 82. By thus moving the screening member so that the toner waste discharge port 58 may be unscreened/screened, the necessary amount of toner waste is discharged from the storage container as necessary.
