Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of exhibiting long-term durability by controlling a dispersion state of wax in the toner.SOLUTION: The toner includes toner particles comprising a binder resin, wax and a colorant and has such characteristics that: (1) the binder resin comprises a polyester resin; (2) the wax is a hydrocarbon-based wax; and (3) the toner particles contain a compound represented by general formula (1) below. In formula (1), R, R, and Rrepresent hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and Rand Rrepresent hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
