PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that reduces crushing of toner even after a long-term use while maintaining low-temperature fixability, reduces embedment of external additive fine particles and transition of the external additive fine particles to members, such as a developing roller and a photoreceptor, and maintains high transfer efficiency for a long period.SOLUTION: A toner includes toner particles having a binder resin; the surface of the toner particle is coated with a resin A; the elastic modulus Ea of the resin A and the elastic modulus Eb of the binder resin satisfy the following formula: 0.5≤(Ea/Eb)×100≤50.0; the adhesive power Aof the toner particle when a probe having spherical SiOattached to the tip of a cantilever is pressed against the toner particle at 3 μN is 500 nN or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
