PURPOSE: To obtain particularly excellent developing property fixability and fluidity by preparing toner powder with a resin mixture formed by blending a specific crosslinkable polyester resin and epoxy resin at a specific ratio as a binder and mixing such toner powder and specific external additive thereby forming the toner.
CONSTITUTION: This toner contains the toner powder obtd. by dispersing a toner component into the binder and the external additive. The binder contains the crosslinkable polyester and the epoxy resin having <1,500 epoxy equiv. and the content ratio of the epoxy resin is <60wt% by the weight of the binder. The crosslinkable polyester consists of a polyhydric alcohol and polyvalent acid and at least either of the polyhydric alcohol and polyvalent acid is obtd. by polymerizing a monomer compsn. contg. ≥trivalent multifunctional components. The pulverous powder of silicon dioxide is used as the external additive to constitute the toner and said powder is used in the state of the pulverous particles having ≤100mμ grain size. The ratio of the external additive to be added is preferably 0.01W0.8wt% by the total weight of the toner.
