Title:
TONGUE FIXING STRUCTURE FOR SPORTS SHOES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10155515
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent a tongue from being shifted to a side part by inserting the tip sides of a string to a pair of the insertion holes of a tongue piece, knotting them and fixing the tongue by the knot of the string.

One shoe string 16 is successively inserted and stretched to string holes 15 and flaps 14 are mutually tightened by the shoe string 16. Also, the tongue 17 extended in a front-to-back direction is disposed between the flaps 14 and the tongue 17 protects the ankle and dissolves the feeling of incompatibility by the knot 18 of the shoe string 16. On the surface of the tongue 17, the tongue piece 21 is attached by sewing near the knot 18 of the shoe string 16 and a pair of the insertion holes are formed at the tongue piece 21 with a prescribed interval in a horizontal direction. By inserting both end parts of the shoe string 16 to the pair of the insertion holes of the tongue piece 21 and knotting them, the tongue 17 is prevented from being shifted at the knot 18 of the shoe string 16. As a result, even when violent sports such as rugby and baseball, etc., are performed, the tongue 17 is not shifted to the side part and the function of the tongue 17 is guaranteed.
