To prevent generation of wrinkle in use of a tonneau cover, to enhance durability and to enhance operability by eliminating generation of rubbing sound or the like in a tonneau cover device for a vehicle provided in a luggage room.
A winding/storage box 30 for winding/storing the tonneau cover 20 is constituted by a lengthy box frame 40; and a holder 50 slidably mounted to both ends for fixing the box frame 40 to a vehicle body side. In order to enhance integration feeling of the winding/storage box 30 and the tonneau cover 20, drawing openings 43, 54 are set on an upper surface of the winding/storage box 30 (upper surface 40a of the box frame 40 and upper surface 50a of the holer 50) and a trimming spacer 60 is interposed on the drawing opening 43 of the box frame 40 in order to bury a gap of the drawing openings 43, 54. At drawing of the tonneau cover 20, the tonneau cover 20 is restricted to a flat shape over the whole width.
