Abstract:

To provide a short tool accommodation structure capable of transmitting high torque with less wear.

This tool accommodation structure has an accommodation sleeve 3 opening at a coaxial radial dimension R along the axis A of the tool 2. The accommodation sleeve 3 has a guide inner surface 12 in which the radial dimension R portion at least partially and constantly extends along the tool axis A. In the accommodation sleeve 3, there are provided at least three rotation transmitting grooves 5 at least at angular intervals of 0°, 120°, and 240° and at least one locking body 6 which is positioned between the two rotation transmitting grooves 5 adjacent to each other, and which can move freely in the radial direction to radial dimension R portion at a position facing in a diametrical direction to the other third rotation transmitting groove 5. The accommodation sleeve 3 is opened for the portion of the coaxial radial dimension R, and perspective center angle α of the rotation transmitting groove 5 is set to at least 40° , respectively.
