To provide a tool adhered state detection device of a machine tool capable of detecting whether a tool or a tool holder on which the tool is mounted is closely installed on a main spindle or not in high precision and stably.
This tool adhered state detection device of the machine tool is devised to judge whether the tool and a head end surface 13a of the main spindle 13 are closely adhered on each other or not by supplying hydraulic pressure to a cylinder part 20 by a hydraulic pressure supplying device 28, making a piston member 21 contact with a main spindle head 11 and the main spindle 13 against energizing force of an O ring 22, supplying air to air nozzles 27a, 27b, 27c formed on a head end surface 13a of the main spindle 13 through the piston member 21 from the side of the main spindle head 11 and detecting pressure change of the air injected from the air nozzles 27a, 27b, 27c by air pressure detection sensors 25a, 25b, 25c when rotation of the main spindle 13 stops.
