To provide a tool for assisting wearing a pair of socks, having a structure of enabling even an older person and a person handicapped with the hand to easily wear socks alone, and capable of reducing a production cost, and also enabling a carer to easily put socks on a care recipient.

A tool 1 for assisting wearing a pair of socks includes: a sock holding part 20 for holding the sock in a state of expanding a diameter of the sock into a bag-like shape by wearing so as to put sock on; and a support member 10 for supporting the sock holding part 20, and becoming a guide of a foot of a user. The sock holding part 20 includes, on at least a part thereof, a foot pulling-out section in which a member is not provided so as to enable the user to pass the foot. A user can wear socks by pulling out the foot from the foot pulling-out section of the sock holding part 20 while inserting the foot into socks held by the sock holding part 20.
