To provide a chamfering/correcting tool for a cut end of a pipe, which is used for the cut end of a three-layer pipe having a metallic intermediate layer so that the inner peripheral and outer circumferential edges of the cut end of the three-layer pipe can be chamfered and the metallic intermediate layer can be restrained from being exposed to the cut surface thereof.
The chamfering/correcting tool 1, that is used for chamfering the cut end of the three-layer pipe having the metallic intermediate layer interposed between an inner layer and an outer layer both of which are produced from a synthetic resin, includes a grip part 2 and an almost-columnar insertion part 4. An inside surface chamfering part 11 for chamfering the inner peripheral edge of the cut end of the pipe is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the insertion part 4. An outside surface chamfering part 13 for chamfering the outer circumferential edge of the cut end of the pipe is extended from the grip part 2 or the insertion part 4 so that the outside surface chamfering part 13 and the inside surface chamfering part 11 may be opposed to each other. An edge 11A of the inside surface chamfering part 11, which edge is contacted slidingly with the cut end of the pipe when the chamfering work is done, and an edge 13A of the outside surface chamfering part 13 are formed into such inclined shapes that the edges thereof come close to each other as it goes to the side of the grip part 2.
