Title:
TOOL DAMAGE HYSTERESIS RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001150300
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a tool damage hysteresis recording device capable of approximating the set life of a tool in use to the actual life of the life and thus realizing appropriate management of the tool by recording the hysteresis of damage of the tool in use.

The tool damage hysteresis recording device 10 for recording the hysteresis of damage of the tool used for machining carried out by a machine tool operating on the basis of the operation management of a control means, with the device 10 having a plurality of automatically replaceable tool magazines which store tools, comprises a communicating portion 11 for receiving, from an NC device 6, machining time hysteresis information about the operating condition of the machine tool and the tool used in the machining a recording portion 12 for recording the preset average lifetime of the tool used of the machining and the machining time hysteresis information about the tool, received by the communicating portion 11, and a computing portion 13 for referencing the machining time hysteresis information about the tool used for the machining, recorded in the recording portion 12, then calculating the average lifetime of the tool when there is information about the time of damage of the tool during use, and renewing information about the average lifetime previously recorded in the recording portion 12.
