This evacuating tool comprises a long machine body part 30, a roll receiving part 32 which is formed at one end part of the machine body part 30 and receives the guide roll and an engaging part 36 which is formed at the other end part of the main body part 30 and is detachably hung on the frame of a weaving machine. When the guide roll is evacuated, a pair of evacuating tools are used. The evacuating tools are raised by one or more operators in the state of the end part of the guide roll received by the roll receiving part 32 and the engaging part 36 is hung on the frame of the weaving machine.
