Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tool grinding attachment that is able to grind a cutting edge of a punch without disassembling a punch body from a punch assembly, and also to grind an edge part of a top shoulder 'radius' part of a die easily as well as to grind even those being different in punch and die forms by way of selecting a work mode of grinding conditions preassembled.
CONSTITUTION: A turntable 33 is rotatably installed in a slider 29 shiftably supported on a base 3 in both directions, and a grinding tool 53 grinding a workpiece set to this turntable 33 is installed in a position separated in an axial direction of the turntable 33 free of rotation and free of movement in the axial direction.
