Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible that a punch body is free from any hindrance when it is used again by preventing chips and dust, etc., from making an inroad through an opening formed between the edge of the punch body and a punch guide when the edge of the punch body is ground in a state wherein it is projected from the punch guide.
CONSTITUTION: The edge of a punch body 101 is ground while holding the edge of the punch body 101 mated in a punch assembly 95 in a state wherein it is projected from a punch guide 99, and in a state wherein the clearance part of the punch assembly 95 such as an opening (S) between the edge of the punch body 101 and the punch guide 99 is sealed with a sealing member (G).
