Title:
TOOL FOR HELPING PUTTING ON SOCKS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014124525
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helping tool to solve a situation where elderly people and people having disability in their waist or in their legs need help for putting on socks as it is difficult for them to bend their waist.SOLUTION: A tool of this device is a pair of bilaterally symmetrical objects made by processing a rather thick wire. A rear surface of a sock is hooked to a hook 1, and a front surface of the sock is hooked to a portion 2. Thereby, an insertion port for inserting a foot can be made between the hook 1 and the portion 2. Then, a handle part 3 is held, the insertion port is brought to the tip of a foot, and the tool is pulled toward a user slowly while the foot is being inserted, and the user can put on the sock easily. When removing the tool, by gripping portions 4 and 5, the portion 4 moves inward, the hook 1 is released from the sock, and the tool is raised to the front upper surface to release the sock. A spring effect can be expected by winding a wire for a portion 6, but by inserting a spring 7, a stronger spring effect can be acquired. A strong tool can be made by fixing a portion A, a portion B, and a portion C by soldering.
