To prevent productivity from lowering by providing a positioning means functionally connected to a tool holder for shifting the tool holder with tool change operation, the changing one of tools with the other tool on the shaping position of a workpiece.
Rotation of a pinion 6 at operating a cylinder 7 moves upward a rack 5 and a tool holder 1, and moves a second tool 2 to a working position. When tool change operation is completed, a piston rod 17 and a lever 8 are returned to the initial position. During this return movement, a one-way clutch 103 prevents the pinion 6 and the shaft 9 from anticlockwise returning. As a result, the pinion 6 remains on the rotated position. As being set by a collar part 18, movement of the pinion 6 in the angular direction, the respective strokes of the piston rod 17 and the respective movement in the angular direction of the pinion 6, advance the tool holder 1 by a distance corresponding to equal space between tools.
