This tool holder holds a tool 1 in the state of hanging on the waist. The tool holder includes: a hook-like belt latch part 3 disposed along the waist belt 2 and latched on the upper edge 2A of the waist belt 2; and a pendant ring part 6 through which a fitting part 5 of the tool 1 or a tool holding part 4 holding the tool 1 is removably passed to lift the tool, wherein the lower part of the belt latch part 3 is pivoted on the upper part of the pendant ring part 6 to freely rock in the longitudinal direction.
