Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for indirect hot line work which enables locking of rotation of a head or locking release to be performed while being hung on an overhead wire without using another indirect hot line work tool.SOLUTION: A tool for indirect hot line work is formed by attaching a head 3, which includes: a head body 4 including a hook part 41 and a base end part 42 facing the hook part; and a movable part 5 including a jaw 13 at a tip part, to a tip of an insulative operation rod 2. A rotary cylindrical body 8 which is rotatably attached to the base end part 42 of the head body 4 is fixed to a tip of the insulative operation rod 2. A circular gear part, in which teeth 11 protruding toward the base end part is formed at a periphery, is provided at an upper end part of the rotary cylindrical body. Further, a receiving member 20 protruding toward the base end part and a compression spring 26 which biases the receiving member toward the base end part are provided in the tool for the indirect hot line work. An engagement pawl 15, which protrudes from the base end part to the teeth of the circular gear part and retracts therefrom, is provided and coordinated with the receiving member.
