To provide a tool for accurately determining the fixation force of a connection pin in a watch band easily and without personal difference.

The determination tool is provided with a cylindrical body 10, a slide shaft 21 that is mounted in an axial direction inside a body so that it can travel, a press pin 13 that is mounted to one end of the shaft, and a spring 23 that is accommodated in the body and biases the other end of the shaft into an axial direction. The tool is also provided with locking pieces 23 and 26 for preventing the shaft part from being unlocked from the body at a position where the press pin 13 projects from one end of the body due to the spring, thus the fixation force of the connection pin of a watch band can be determined by pressing the press pin to the end part of the connection pin of the watch band.
