Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the functional ability of an electrical apparatus, by confirming the degree of pollution in a slot for housing a conductor rod.SOLUTION: A tool 1 for measuring pollution in a slot 7 for conductor rod of an electrical apparatus has a voltage generator 10 for applying a voltage in the slot 7, a voltmeter 20 for measuring voltage drop along the slot 7, and a processor 30 for calculating pollution from the voltage drop. Furthermore, a method for measuring pollution in the slot 7 for conductor rod of an electrical apparatus includes a step of applying a voltage in the slot 7, a step of measuring voltage drop along the slot, and a step of calculating pollution in the slot based on the voltage drop thus measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
