Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with various work needs by selecting an appropriate one among the plural kinds of point train generation conditions in the method of generating a point train where a tool should pass through on a route to move the tool so as to work a work.
SOLUTION: In a computer aided design(CAM) process which is the pre- process of a numerical control(NC) work process, based on the shape data of the work, a tool curve expression for indicating a tool route by a curve is calculated. Further, based on the tool curve expression and corresponding to the one selected by an operator among the plural kinds of the point strain generation conditions for which the allowable synthesis moving speed of the tool, a synthesis moving speed command value, an allowable centrifugal acceleration, an allowable moving speed component difference and the rotation speed of the tool are selectively considered as tool speed relating conditions, the point sequence is generated on the tool route and cutter location(CL) data are obtained.
