Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool that can finish a precision processing surface excellently in terms of time and economy.
SOLUTION: A tool 1 for precision processing of work is equipped with at least two cuttor plates 5 and 7, each of which possesses at least one defined cutting edge 19 or 21. The cuttor plate has different materials in least one aforementioned cutting edge region. The cuttor plate useful for preprocessing contains a cemented carbide, thermit and/or CBN (cubic crystal boron nitride) in the cutting edges region, and the cutting edge or the cuttor plate useful for precision processing, contains PCD (poly-crystal diamond).
