The tool for preventing a fishing line tangle includes an approximately inverted conic cover part 4 continuously covering a space from a guide ring 2 to the circumference of the ear tip 3 of the fishing rod, an opening 5 at the tip and a slit 6 formed along the longitudinal direction at a side of the side projecting from the guide ring 2. The end part 7 is chamfered at an acute angle so that the end part is smoothly continued to the circumference of the ear tip 3 of the fishing rod.
