To develop a compact tool for putting-on and taking-off clothes with a simple structure, which is capable of allowing a person who is hard to bend down or bend knees due to lumbago, to put-on/take-off clothes (trousers, a skirt, underpants) anywhere and anytime without the assistance of a carer.
The tool is obtained by joining two support shafts A1 and B2 at a support joint part at the upper ends of the respective shafts with the use of a joint 3, so as to be freely separable, joinable, and turnable. The tool includes: a hook 4 for putting-on the clothes (the trousers) arranged at a lower end part on the side surface of the support shaft A1; and a hook 5 (the tip end is tapered and arranged downward in a pawl shape) for taking-off underpants arranged at the lower end of the hook for putting-on the clothes.
