The tool 1 for removing the adhering matter is provided with a base element 2 to be attached to a rotary tool, and arm portions 3 radially extending from the base element 2 and having an impact portion 31 at the tip end of the arm portion 3. The arm portion 3 is supported so as to relatively swing with respect to the base element 2 within a required range. A shock absorbing means 4 is arranged between the arm portion 3 and the base element 2. As a result, because the impact portions 31 rotating at a high rotational speed violently collide with the adhering matter, the adhered matter can be steadily and efficiently removed. Further, because the reaction produced at this time is absorbed by the shock absorbing means 4, the object itself is not spoiled.
