The tool 10 for removing a deposit to the inner surface of the coal feed pipe, through which coal is fed from the coal feeder of a coal feeding facility, equipped with a tubular member 11 insertable from a slot communicating with the coal feed pipe and having a jetting opening 11a for jetting a gas at its tip end part, and a cylindrical closing member 13 for closing the slot and installed on the base end part side of the tubular member 11.
