To provide a tool having short length so as to store in a small place and make it easy to handle, with which bigger action force can be obtained by smaller force.
A metal cutting scissors 1 are comprised of a pair of handle members 2 and 3, and a pair of cutting edge members 4 and 5. The pair of handle members 4 and 5 are provided with gripping parts 2e and 3e on the rear parts, and the front ends are journaled to rotate each other through a first shaft member 6. Each rear end of the pair of cutting edge members 4 and 5 are journaled to rotate, between the first shaft member 6 of each handle member and the gripping parts 2e and 3e, through a second shaft member 8 and a third shaft member 9 respectively. The cutting edge members 4 and 5 are also journaled to rotate each other through a fourth shaft member 10 in front of the first shaft member 6. Cutting edge parts 4c and 5c are formed on each of the cutting edge members 4 and 5. The metal cutting scissors 1 are constituted by journaling the rear ends of the cutting edge members 4 and 5 at the rear of the first shaft member 6, which journals each of the handle members 2 and 3. Thereby the full length of the scissors are shorter, and the length from the handle parts 2e and 3e to the cutting edge parts 4c and 5c are also shorter.
