Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify design to be linear and to improve reliability by arranging and disposing a spindle motor and a drive to be substantially mutually aligned along the axis in a sleeve.
CONSTITUTION: A spindle 21 is roated about its axis 10 by a coaxially installed motor 28. This toolhead 9 is provided with an actuator 37, and a sleeve 16 is moved along the axis 10 with respect to a casing between a complete draw- out position and a complete retract positon by the actuator 37. The actuator 37 is provided with a circular ball drive 38 substantially coaxially with the axis 10 in the sleeve 16 and further with a motor 39 for driving the drive 38 in the sleeve 16.
