To identify a person with high accuracy even if a normal tooth when registered in a database has changed by being identified.
A teeth shape information identification system comprises a living information database 12 in which selected outline information is registered according to an appropriate address of each tooth by selecting outlines of each tooth and its treatment trace from teeth images acquired by radiographing unspecified number of people, and a matching processing part 14 to calculate similarity to a contrast image of each tooth obtained from identified outline information registered in the living information database 12 and to identify an unidentified person from the contrast image of the tooth whose similarity could be most on the contrast image of each tooth of the unidentified person corresponding to the selected outline and the appropriate address of the each tooth. The matching processing part 14 includes a function 14B to exclude a tooth whose status has changed and to calculate the similarity.
