To provide a tooth surface machining device of an internal gear capable of enhancing the machining accuracy and efficiently performing the machining.
A plurality of planetary external gears 2 having an external die 2A to be engaged with an internal tooth T1 of a workpiece W1 are supported by a carrier 3, and a sun gear 4 is engaged with pinions 2B of the planetary external gears 2 to constitute a planetary gear mechanism. The sun gear 4 is rotated by a spindle 5, and the carrier 3 is fixed, the planetary external gears 2 are rotated to rotate the workpiece W to give the rotation to a load. Thus, a tooth surface of the internal tooth T1 of the workpiece W1 is continuously form-rolled by the external tooth die 2A. The workpiece W1 is uniformly supported by the plurality of planetary external gears 2, and the axis of rotation of the workpiece W1 is coaxially arranged with the spindle 5. Thus, generation of any vibrations and fluctuation of the machining load are suppressed, the form rolling can be consistently and smoothly performed, and the machining accuracy is enhanced.
