Abstract:
To provide a toothbrush cleaning device and a toothbrush cleaning method by which removal of stain stuck to the brush part as well as sterilization of a toothbrush can be effectively performed by only a simpler operation.SOLUTION: The toothbrush cleaning device (1) includes a liquid storage container (10) and a placing table device (30). The liquid storage container (10) is composed of a transparent or opaque material at least in part, and is designed to store a cleaning fluid (W) for the purpose of cleaning at least the brush part (110) of a toothbrush (100). The placing table device (30) is equipped with a placing part (40) for placing the liquid storage container (10), a light irradiation part (50) that irradiates the liquid storage container (10) placed on the placing part (40) with light containing ultraviolet rays, and a vibration body (60) that generates ultrasonic vibration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
