To improve sucking efficiency of drainage and miniaturize a pump by covering an elastic hood around the circumference of a brush of a toothbrush and regulating and partitioning a flowing range of the liquid by the elastic hood, when the drainage in the oral cavity is sucked by the pump.

A toothbrush device with a liquid feeding/draining function which is used favorably in brushing the teeth by a carer, is so formed as to feed the liquid to the oral cavity in brushing the teeth and suck and discharge the drainage in the oral cavity. In this case, the tip part 11a of the handle 11 of the toothbrush 10 is covered with the elastic hood 13. The elastic hood 13 is formed of a skirt part 13b which is gradually and continuously enlarged downward from a cap part 13a whose one side is opened for an insertion port of the handle and the tip part 11a of the handle 11 is inserted by pushingly opening a slit provided from the insertion port of the cap part 13a to the bottom edge of the skirt part 13b so that the elastic hood 13 is installed therein. In brushing the teeth, the drainage in a polishing part partitioned by the elastic hood 13 is sucked from a drain port 17 by the sucking force of a pump and discharged to a drainage tank.
