Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush capable of removing stain on tooth surfaces and also removing stain in a periodontal pocket, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided a toothbrush 1 comprising a brush 3 comprising plural specific synthetic resin fibers 4a having taper surfaces formed on tip end parts. A diameter on which the taper surface 4a1 is not formed on the specific synthetic resin fiber 4a comprising the taper surface 4a1 formed on the tip end part, is 0.1-0.25 mm. The specific synthetic resin fiber 4a is a specific synthetic resin comprising the taper surface 4a1 formed in a range of 1-5 mm from the tip end, in which a taper ratio (length dimension of the taper surface from the tip end of the synthetic resin fiber/length dimension from the tip end of the synthetic resin fiber of the toothbrush to a surface of the toothbrush head) is in a range of 8-50%, and the bending strength of the brush in a position separated from a forefront part of the brush by 1 mm is equal to or higher than 0.60 N/cmand equal to or lower than 2.00 N/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
