To provide a toothbrush with a fall prevention function which prevents a physically impaired person, a wheelchair user, a person who is able to use one hand only on account of injury or the like from dropping a toothbrush from the hand when brushing the teeth, since a physically impaired person or a wheelchair user for example finds it difficult to pick up a toothbrush alone when the fingers get loose to let the toothbrush fall during daily toothbrushing, and also since a person who is injured for instance and able to use only one hand often drops a toothbrush when putting toothpaste thereon.

A toothbrush with a fall prevention function is characterized in that, on the rear side at the tip of the handle opposite from the brush of a toothbrush which is generally used at present and shaped nearly straight, a tabular finger cover is provided in a manner not restricting movement of the fingers, and that the tabular finger cover has a length covering the forefinger to the little finger, a width having as much width as the widest part of the handle, and a thickness made thinner closer to the forefinger gripping the handle so as to possess elasticity.
