Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture and installing work by forming a step part in a leg part and a screw part on a tip side, and arranged a collar, water stop packing of an elastic body and nut between them.
SOLUTION: The leg part 4 of a foothold tool 1 is inserted into a through hole 3 formed in a manhole wall 2, and the screw part 14 of core metal 7 is positioned in a stepped hole 12. Next, a resin collar 15 is inserted into the core metal 7 to be installed in the leg part 4. Next, water stop packing 16 is inserted so that the tip of the truncated cone part 20 of the packing 16 is allowed to abut to the rear end of the collar 15. Then, a washer 17 is inserted into the core metal 7, and a nut 18 is also threadedly installed in the screw part 14 of the core metal 7 to be fastened. Then, the flange part 19 of the packing 16 abuts to the step part 13 so as to be brought into close contact with the step part 13 by being pressed, and the truncated cone part 20 of the packing 16 is expanded through the rear end of the collar 15 to be press fitted to the hole 3. Thus, the collar and the water stop packing can be selected regardless of the size of a diameter of the core metal and the size of an installing hole of a wall.
