Abstract:
To provide a toothbrush having excellent usability and cleaning performance without lowering the strength of a head.
The ratio R1 (R1=B/W) of the length of a non-bristle-setting part B to the length W of a bristle-setting surface in a cross-sectional plane normal to the longitudinal direction L of a handle of a head 10 is made 0.30 or more. And the ratio R2 (R2=a/A) of an actual area (a) of a cross-sectional plane normal to the longitudinal direction of a handle of the head 10 under condition that bundles of bristle are removed to expose bristle setting holes to an area A under conditions that the bristle setting holes are fully filled is made 0.35 or more.
